Angelo
Academic Advisor
Angelo graduated UMD with a bachelors in Information Science in 2022 and is working towards his masters degree in Information Technology.
He has been active in the furry community since 2013 and is one of the founding members of Unifursity Furries.
In his free time, Angelo enjoys music festivals and going to conventions!
Blossom
President
Blossom is a Geospatial Data Science and Information Science major at the University of Maryland College Park.
As President, she has been responsible for increasing club membership 400%, increasing event participation, and creating club infrastructure.
Blossom has been active in the furry community since 2020.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking and baking, reading scifi novels, playing bass, collecting vinyl, gaming, seeing live music, going to cons, and most importantly hanging out with other furs!

Treasurer
Edward is a Computer Science and Math major at the University of Maryland.
As Treasurer, he has been responsible for maintaining the club budget and working with UMD SORC and SGA, as well as assisting the other admins with running events.
Edward is also the treasurer for the Cybersecurity and Amateur Radio clubs and an instructor for CMSC 398R. In his free time, he enjoys gaming and hanging out with friends.
Speedy
Event Coordinator
Speedy is a Secondary Education and Studio Art major who transferred in spring of 2023 to UMD.
She has been active in the furry community through her art since 2016. As the events coordinator she strives to bring fun and new adventures to the club.
Outside of being a member she enjoys all forms of art, Horse back riding, reading, and teaching the next generations.

Our Origin Story
Our origins began when two UMD furs went to the Furrydelphia 2022 convention. During the closing ceremony, one of the founders told the story about how the convention came into existence. When there was no local furry convention within a 500 mile radius of two major cities, the two convention founders thought to themselves, “well why don’t we make one here?” Through lots of hard work, the con was created and is still going strong many years later. Leaving with an inspiring message about seeking out and creating things they wish existed, Unifursity Furries was born.
Our History
Within three months of its inception, the University of Maryland recognized Unifursity Furries as an official university organization in November of 2022. With official recognition, the organization was hard at work with its first campaign to recruit members and find the furries within the UMD campus.
Deciding to go with an old meme redrawn with furries, posters were placed all over the campus. This attracted the attention of many media outlets, including Barstool and the Diamondback. Since then, Unifursity Furries has grown to over 80 members and has hosted many events.
